Tldr highly recommend! I spent several days researching activewear fleeces for a spring thru hike and I'm so glad I settled on the Sambob alpha 90. I've been wearing it as a top or mid-layer in high 30-60 degree weather and it keeps me very comfortable (merino base, sambob, wind/rain shell). It's just the perfect hiking layering piece for me. Re sizing, I am about 5'8", 130 pounds with longish arms/torso. I got the women's small and it fits perfectly - sleeves are just long enough and the fit is just roomy enough to feel no restricted movement but I can still easily layer my size S raincoat over it. Plus it looks cute. All around a winner.
