Warm but didn’t last

I got this fleece for the Sierra Nevada section of my PCT thru hike. I only wore this as an extra layer while sleeping. It did the job and kept me warm in low temperatures while in snow. I NEVER hiked in it, but within a week, the armpit stitching had completely come apart bilaterally and had huge holes. I know other thru hikers who religiously hiked in and used their Senchi alpha fleeces daily during the entire 5-6 month hike without any issues. This is why, in the future, I will be replacing this one with a Senchi instead as the quality seems to be much better and longer lasting.

Mistakes happen, and this was clearly one on our part! As a small, growing brand, we always want to make it right and direct communication with us to resolve the issue is as easy as an email or even a DM on instagram.

Despite the clearly faulty product you received, the durabilty of our hoodies is typically not a problem at all, as we've had hundreds of hikers use a single hoodie for the duration of their through hikes and even a few complete the Calendar Year Triple Crown (9,000+ miles in one year) using the same hoodie.

My through hike favourite!

I bought this to use on a 4 week through hike above the Artic circle in Scandinavia. Combined with a wind shirt it’s been outstanding. The flexibility, warmth and breathability it provides have been amazing. And it looks great too!

Not great

Not great, unfortunately. Ran small. Wore on a hike and it was so incredibly hot I had to take it off. Not sure if it would be different in a larger size but disappointed overall. Unable to return at this point.

Alpha is a very warm fabric, that's why people like it so much! It sounds like you may have needed a lighter layer than this hoodie.
