Alpha 90 Hoodie

Absolutely fantastic. I just spent a week backpacking in Utah, and this may have been the MVP of the trip. Such a versatile top for a wide range of temps. The fit is what I may like the most, though. I'm 6'2", 175lbs and decently long arms. The medium fits me great, and the sleeves are nice and long.

Alpha is amazing and should be everywhere. I picked the Sambob for the melly style drawstring hood, and it’s just as sweet as I hoped. My wide medium weighs in at 5.06 oz - not a big deal, but also not the 4.3 oz advertised. Maybe after a dozen washes…

I have worn this hoodie nearly every day since it arrived! The perfect layer, beautiful color (black spruce), and comfortable fit. No notes.

Got my alpha 90 hoodie for trail running and biking. This fall this thing has been my go-to. It packs down super light, and paired with a light shell layer, I have yet to get too hot or too cold. I’ve worn it from 50ish degrees to 30 degrees. On its own, air rips through and pulls heat away when moving, but warms up again when stopped, so for high output activities it’s the ultimate layer. Add a shell when windy or colder and it keeps me the perfect temp. Construction is quality and I really like the fit. True to size. Plus it’s super soft and cozy without being too warm, and the pink color is absolutely awesome. Thank you Sambob for making a really cool product that I absolutely love! It’s now my go-to for high output cool/cold weather activities and I’m sure I’ll get 4 season use out of it.
