Microgrid Hoodie

So I am a big guy with big dreams to be as outdoorsy as possible, both in practice and in vibes. And having a microgrid fleece is an essential mid layer for the aspiring dirtbag. My problem is I could never find a microgrid that was in my size. So when I saw the 3XL wide size I jumped at the opportunity to get it. That size did fit but unfortunately it was a tad tight. So I reached out to Sam and he was so courteous with me to let me return that hoodie and then worked with me to get measurements for a custom microgrid hoodie. I've now had it for about a year now and I wear it through all of fall and winter for hiking. It is the perfect layer to wear when you're hiking in the middle of winter and you don't want to overheat. But I also love to wear it when lounging around at camp in the summer and fall.

Listen, there are many fleece mid layers you can purchase in the wide land that is outdoor gear, but no place offers the customer service and flexibility that Sambob does. If I ever need an Alpha or Octa fleece I'll be sure to come back here with my measurements to get a comfortable mid layer that I love. Thanks Sam!

I might’ve gone overboard on the customization, but I designed the perfect hoody for 17 year old me (circa 1990), except techy. This has become my go to layer for cold days hiking, skiing etc. I’ve gotten a million compliments on it as I also wear it around town constantly. I’ve had it a almost year and have worn it 70+ days and it’s holding g up marvelously! Seriously, I love this hoody!

Just placed my 3rd order. Now I'll have Alpha, Micro grid and Octo. Can't wait till they come out with Octo Joggers so I can place my 4th order for these fantastic products

Ordered from Japan so it took some time but it was so worth the wait!
I'e been wearing mine for day hikes and also to snow-shoeing so far and it's been keeping me very warm (actually much warmer than I expected).
A little extra money, but I'm glad I chose to do custom because the hoodie screams "ME".

I have lived in this hoodie since it came in the mail! It’s so soft & cozy and the perfect warm layer for cold activities or lounging around. I especially love that it has a longer torso & sleeves than some other brands — no more plumbers crack & cold wrists! The sizing is accurate, I’m typically a women’s small (5’8”, 140 lbs, 34b) and the x-small narrow fits perfectly. It is well-made and I’m excited to bring this hoodie with me on every adventure for years to come.
