I customized my microgrid Sam Bob about a year ago and it has truly brought me so much joy. I’m always the right temperature while wearing it and am almost embarrassed by all the compliments and attention I get because it just looks so unique and cool. I also have the alpha 90 which is the perfect light weight layer for warmer weather. I got my husband a microgrid hoodie for Christmas and he loves his too. He’s a former mountaineering and climbing guide who is very particular about the few things he packs on a trip. We don’t go anywhere without our Sam Bobs! Highly recommend.
Perfect fit and very durable product as well! Very lightweight and warm for a mid layer hoodie! Definitely won’t be my only one in the closet!
My Sambob microgrid is the best midlayer I've ever had. When my old fleece finally bit the dust, I struggled to find something to replace it. I've tried 4 different brands and Sambob is by far the best quality. I'm out on trail a lot and I've used it around camp as well as hiked in it. It's quite durable, super comfy, and it doesn't hold smell in the way other fabrics do which means I can wear it around the house, not just on trail. I love the hood and the neck protector part keeps me pretty toasty when I need it to. As if that's not enough, the color customization is so fun and I get all the compliments on this hoodie! I'm obsessed and can't wait for the pants to make their appearance :P
I can’t speak highly enough of the customer service for every order. I had a lot of questions about colors and fabrics and he went out of his way to make sure that I got the hoodie I wanted. Response times were always super fast and it really felt like we were collaborating on a design. 🌈 Also, the quality of the hoodies is excellent!
