About the artist

Sambob has teamed up with local Portland artist Jordan Parks to create this beautiful oyster 🦪 pattern Alpha hoodies and joggers. 15% of sales go straight to her!

Jordan's work fosters conversations about climate and environmental impacts through the lived experience as a Black and Bi-racial woman. For Jordan, many spaces have never fully felt like she belonged. As she ages, explores connections with a Black paternal family, and investigates the patterns of a white maternal family, Jordan has begun to extensively question who she is, where and how she belongs to place, and what people she belongs to. Jordan’s passion for engaging communities with Maine’s coastal landscapes stemmed from experiences in environmental and outdoor education and engaging people who may not have otherwise connected with southern Maine islands and waters.

This is a delicate fabric and must be treated as such! It will snag easily, so keep it away from Velcro, dog claws, and definitely don’t bushwhack in it!

Shipping & returns

Ready to ship pieces ship in 1–3 business days. Made-to-order and custom pieces ship once they're sewn, currently in about 8–12 weeks. Orders that mix both ship together.

Free shipping on US orders over $130, and a flat $25 to most other countries.

Unworn ready-to-ship pieces can be returned within 30 days of shipping. Made-to-order returns have a 25% restocking fee, and custom returns 50%. Full returns policy

Made in the USA

Every Sambob piece is made in the USA. Our made-to-order and custom pieces are sewn by our team of three in Portland, Maine. Everything else is made by small sewing shops on the East Coast.

About 90% of our fabric is made in the USA, including all of our Alpha.
